D&M introduced their first Robotic production line in 1998. The efficiency of this line has been continually improved over the past years. Improvements since that time have elevated the systems performance. The trained D&M operators inspect and prepare all parts prior to placing them on custom built Jigs. The conveyor automatically passes the parts through a treatment area, paint application area and then through the drying process. The system has certain default settings which assist the operator in the efficient management of the equipment. Constant monitoring is maintained throughout the entire production process. When the cycle is completed the operators inspect the painted parts prior to placing them into custom designed packaging.

An additional State of the Art Robotic Line was commissioned in 2002. This line features sophisticated part preparation technology and monitoring and analytical software, which ensures a high level of repeatability. All parts are inspected by the operators prior to placing them on the jigs. The parts are not handled again until the final monitoring process. The system has been designed to alert the operator should a problem be encountered during the production processes. A CD record of each part being painted is also possible, if required. The final monitoring of the painted parts is paramount. The operators are trained to ensure that all parts meet the customer’s requirements. If compliant the parts are placed in the custom designed packaging.

Testing to the required standard is carried out and relevant reports are forwarded to the customer for review.
